“My Drawers” by Morris Day and the Time.
Had a bad week due to a cold, but the bright spot was overhearing a coworker I barely know singing “fishnets/black pantyhose” to himself in the copy room and engaging him in a Morris Day email conversation. Of course it was brief, because you can’t really get into what’s great about Morris Day and the Time over work email. Unless you want to raise a lot of red flags.

The best news I’ve heard in a while, courtesy Howard Burchette on tonight’s Funk Show… a new album from Morris Day and the Time! (But they are going under the name The Original 7even.) Watching this video makes me positively gleeful.
It’s like I turn ‘em on, and I can’t turn them off. It’s like the way they’re jocking me should be against the law.
